and increase the accuracy/quality output of your equipment.

NV(Noise Vibration) Noise & Vibration (NV) are closely related.

  • Vibration refers to mechanical oscillations about an equilibrium point. The oscillations may be random or periodic (low and high frequency). Vibrating structures generate “pressure waves” that are considered sound or noise.
  • Noises & Vibrations can be reduced by interrupting the noise or vibration path, with barriers (for noise) or isolators (for vibration).
  • Our highly engineered NV Pad Pack materials will interrupt, isolate and/or dampen vibrations & structure-borne noise if placed appropriately (i.e at four points of support and/or used to level machinery).

    NV(Noise Vibration) The engineered materials used for the pre-cut and load-rated NV Pad Packs are designed for the foundation of a typical machine or equipment with four points of support achieving effective vibration isolation/damping and noise absorption.

  • The NV Pad Packs are available in two different “Duro” Durometer is typically used to measure the hardness in polymers, elastomers and rubbers. Each Durometer scale results in a value between 0 and 100, with higher values indicating a harder material. Hardness may be defined as a material's resistance to permanent indentation. The term durometer is often used to refer to the measurement as well as the instrument itself. measurements of:

    40A Duro (for low frequency, vibration isolation, lighter equipment)

    72A Duro (for high frequency, vibration damping, heavy equipment).

  • NV(Noise Vibration) All Pad materials are RoHS & REACH certified and provide very good resistance to many chemicals, lubricants and fuels.

    NV(Noise Vibration) Each NV Pad Pack includes 4 primary pads (w/ profile) for isolation (40A: 26 mm thick, 72A: 25 mm thick) and 4 shim pads for equipment stability (40A shims are flat, 72A shims are profiled, both 5mm thick).
